My Day With My Friend
I was so exited that my friend, Zaren, was coming over. Zaren lives in Modesto. Her mom dropped Zaren off at my house and then Zaren's mom left.
My mom had to go to our school, Colony Oak, in Ripon and then go to the City Hall. We drove over to our school first. We saw our principal, Ms. Carter. She is the best principal ever. We saw her daughters too. They were making signs for next year. I am going to be in fifth grade in August. I want Mr. Van Veran for fifth grade. We call him Mr.V. Mr.V is an eighth grade teacher, but next year he is going to be a fifth grade teacher. My mom had to go to get the key to the Student Store. Every Friday we get ice cream. Now that school is over, my mom will clean it up. There were no ice creams left. They were all taken out. My mom the other day pressed the defrost button to the freezer. There was still ice in the freezer, and she wanted it to melt so all the ice will turn into water. Then she will put paper towels in the freezer to clean it up. Then we went to the City Hall in Ripon to give the lady two forms. One of the forms is so I can go to Volleyball Camp, and the other form is so my brother can go to Basketball Camp.
Next, we went to My Garden Cafe and ate a fruit bowl. We also had chocolate milk. While we waited for our fruit bowls and buttermilk pan cakes, Zaren and I colored some coloring pages. After, we went to the General Market and got marbles. Zaren and I payed for our marbles because we had money. My mom payed for my brother's marbles. When we got home Zaren and I went straight to the marbles and dumped them out on the ground. We put a rope between the marbles so we didn't mix them up. The marbles packet that we just got had fifty marbles total. One blue see thru shooter and all different colored cat eye's. The cat eye's were regular sized. Zaren brought her sixty to seventy marbles from home. I arranged my marbles. I have at least three hundred. Maybe more--I have not counted yet. Then we put our marbles in two separate plastic bags and put them aside.
Then we got our swim suits on. After we put our sun block on we made a duck tape pouch each while we waited for our sun block to dry. I made a silver duck tape pouch for my dad. He loved the pouch. He rides his bike and needs somewhere to put his iPhone so it won't fall out. He said that he will use it for his iPhone. I made just the right size and the iPhone fit. Zaren made a red, white, and blue pouch. She said that she doesn't know who to give it to yet. When we finished the duck tape pouches our sun block dried. We each got six colorful rings that sink in the water and we go dive for them. Then we threw the rings and waited a minute for them to sink and then Zaren said, "GO!!" We both jumped and got as many rings as we could reach in one jump. I got more rings then Zaren the first, second, third, and fourth time. Zaren only got more rings than me on the fifth time we dived. Then we put put the rings on the table, and waited until we were dry just a little and put a towel on the swing and went on the swing. We went super high on the swing. After we went super high we closed our eyes. My stomach was going up and down up and down. I t was like a roller coaster. It was scary. It was a lot of fun too. Then we brought our marbles outside and played keepies. So, if I won I would keep Zaren's and my marble. I f Zaren won, she would keep mine and her marble. I won all of them then we traded some marbles. We got back in the pool and dived for fun.
Then my dad's friend, Todd, came over to get our old TV because we got a new one. Our old TV had all these little blue dots, so you could barely see the picture on the TV. Todd brought has wife and daughter. His daughter's name is Jacie. Jacie was super shy. Jacie is in pre-school or kindergarten. Zaren and I got out of the pool as fast as we could, dried off super good, changed, and came out to say, "Hi!" We had some Cheez-Its and smores. Then my dad and Todd carried the TV into Todd's car. Next, before they left I asked my mom, "Does Jacie's name start with a J?" My mom said, "Yes." I made a bracelet with a J on it and gave it to Jacie while they were walking out side. She said, "Thank You!" They left. Then Zaren and I got back into the pool. We brought our marbles outside to play. My brother really likes this really cool marble I have. It's a dragon egg shooter. I let him borrow it for a couple of minutes. There is lots of holes so the gate can go in around the pool. The marble is the perfect size for the hole. My brother dropped the marble and the marble went into the hole. The marble was stuck. My dad took the water hose put it on had spray and the marble shot right out in the air and I caught it so it would not hit the ground and brake. Zaren and I played a marble game until the I won the marble. Zaren kept shooting the marble at my marble, but she kept missing and it landed in the pool. My dad got the net and got the marble out before the vacuum could suck it up. I finally won the marble.
It was time for Zaren to go home. We gathered her stuff and drove home her home. Zaren had to give my mom directions. Zaren's family was there because they were having a family party. My brother stayed in the car while my mom and I walked her to the door. Her mom opened the door. Her mom had their littlest dog in her arms and their big dog walked outside but came back in. All her cousins were surrounded by the door. We said, "Thanks for coming over. I hope you had a great time. Bye!" Then we left to go home. I had a great time and hope Zaren can come over again or I go to her house.
