Loose Vegetables
Once upon a time, after the sun went down, something strange happened in the kitchen. The refrigerator door creaked open, and out popped...vegetables!? You might have wondered how and why they popped out. Everyone and almost everything was still. One little wizard bean was up and ready to make some magic. Here is how the vegetables popped out: the wizard bean cast a spell on the vegetables and they were able to walk and talk. Here is why they popped out: the refrigerator was packed full with vegetables, it was very cramped.
Well, now that we've got that out of the way, I can continue my story. The vegetables popped out of the refrigerator, and toppled onto each other. When all the vegetables finally got their balance, they scrambled about house. The house was huge, all the vegetables got lost and jumped out an open window. Luckily, all the vegetables were together at the window and a trampoline was under it. They landed safely on the ground, not one vegetable was broken or squished. After all the vegetables were down on the ground, they split into groups. There were three groups: going to the pool, driving the car, or going back into the house to explore.
What's really funny is that most of the vegetables wanted to take a turn driving in the car. While they were driving, they crashed into the garage and an orchard, and popped the tires. They fixed the tires and hurried back to the house. Back at the house, the vegetables in the pool were splashing everywhere. The water was going wild, and it was impossible to stop. When there was only a small puddle of water, Annie the asparagus shouted, "There is no more water!" All the vegetables were freaking out and running wildly around the pool. They didn't know what to do until Sammy the spinach said, "Let's use some pots to fill up the pool with water!" Without one more word, the vegetables used the suggestion. Wow, those vegetables are smart, surprisingly they haven't heard of a hose. The pool group worked madly to finish filling up the pool before morning. Inside the house, a few vegetables were exploring. They were trying out beds, looking in closets, and snooping around. Connie the carrot knocked down a dresser and made a loud noise.
The noise was so loud, it woke up the humans. When the humans awoke, they walked into the empty room and spied the vegetables. They all screamed a loud scream that could wake up the whole neighborhood! The humans ran out the bedroom door, packed as fast as they could, and ran out the front door to find that their car was gone! The vegetables in the car had finally arrived at the house. All the vegetables in the car hopped out, and the humans jumped into the car screaming. They drove far, far away from that town, and never ever came back again. All the vegetables were safe and happy, especially the group at the pool, they were the only ones who weren't found. The vegetables lived happily ever after.
THE END
