Foosball Tournament
It was a sunny Fourth of July, and we were having a party at my uncle's house. We were all having a good time. That particular Fourth of July, we were having a foosball tournament. Whoever wanted to play was paired up with someone else. I was paired up with my dad. There were about 15 teams of two participating. My dad and I beat the first couple of teams easily. The next couple of teams were a little tougher. My godfather's team was pretty good, and they had only lost a couple of times. That game had lasted pretty long, still, we barely beat them. We were still undefeated! Although, we were not the only team that was undefeated. My cousin and his uncle were also undefeated. My dad and I knew we would be seeing them in the finals. My dad and I were so good that by the time we hit the finals, we were still undefeated! It was finally time for the finals. Just like we expected, we were against my cousin's team. Whoever won this last game would win the whole tournament. We put the ball in and the game had begun. It was a good game. We were evenly matched. It came down to the last point. I had butterflies in my stomach. We were so close to winning. Every time they tried to score, my heart skipped a beat, but my dad blocked every single one of them and hit the ball to me. I hit the ball and it went in. My dad and I were so happy. We had won the foosball tournament! That was my triumph.
