BMX Trip
A few years ago my dad and I went to the BMX park in Manteca. We were having a great time cruising around the hilly course. At the beginning of the course, there is a steep hill with a little bump at the end of the hill. I knew the bump was there, so I peddled down really fast to get major air. That little bump I went over made me fly at least 4 feet in the air! In midair, I fell off and face-planted into the hard dirt. I had cuts all along my knees, legs, arms and, face, and I had a bloody mouth. The grip on the handle bars ripped too. The amazing thing is I didn't cry. The guy watching over the park jogged to my aid, and so did my Dad. My Dad gave me water to wash the blood from my mouth away. My Dad was kind of worried,. I could tell he was a little worried by his expression, but not too much because I hadn't broken any bones.
I was cooling off after that for at least thirty minuets because I had hurt myself. One medium sized guy was trying to carry my bike up the steep hill because it was still lying on the side of the course. My Dad asked me if I wanted to stay, and I did. I actually got back out and did more laps.
